Short answer: judge a multipack by three things — the price per sheet once delivery is added, whether every sheet is cut for your exact phone model, and what else is in the box. If you are keeping your phone for a year or more, a 5- or 10-pack is almost always the cheapest way to keep it protected.
Why tempered glass comes in packs
A screen protector is meant to break. Its whole job is to take the crack or the chip so your display does not, which means it is a consumable, like a razor blade — the question is not whether you will replace it but how often.
The other reason is fitting. A speck of dust under the glass, a sheet laid down slightly crooked, a corner that lifts: the first attempt does not always go right, and a spare in the drawer means starting again costs nothing.
Work it out per sheet
The pack price on its own tells you little. Divide it by the number of sheets, and add delivery if you are paying for it. That is the number to compare.
Ours, for Super X Clear glass: ₹599 for 3 (₹200 a sheet), ₹699 for 5 (₹140 a sheet), ₹999 for 10 (₹100 a sheet). The price is the same on every phone we cut. Delivery is ₹50, and free on orders of ₹999 or more, which means the 10-pack arrives free.
A cheap pack of sheets that do not fit your phone is not a bargain at any price per sheet. Fit first, then cost.
What should be in the box
Every sheet cut for one exact model — not "fits most 6.7-inch phones". Two phones can share a screen size and still differ in corner radius, camera cutout and how the glass curves at the edge.
Some packs add a cleaning kit or an alignment frame; check before you count them in the price. Ours are glass only for now — no frame, no cleaning kit — so have a lint-free cloth and a strip of clear tape ready, and line the sheet up by its cut-outs.
3, 5 or 10: which one
A 3-pack suits someone trying a finish for the first time, or someone likely to change phones soon. A 5-pack covers most people for a year of normal knocks with a spare for a fitting that goes wrong. A 10-pack is for heavy use — work phones, drops on site, a phone kept for two years or more — and it is where the price per sheet is lowest.
When a pack is not worth it
If you are about to change phones, do not buy ten sheets for the old one — they only fit that model. And a pack is one phone: every sheet is cut for a single model, so two different phones in a household need two packs.
For a shop, a repair counter or an office buying across many models, a retail pack is the wrong unit. That is what wholesale is for — a quote on volume, picked to whatever mix of models you need.
Questions people ask
What should I look for in a 3-pack or 5-pack of tempered glass under ₹1000?
Sheets cut for your exact phone model, a clear replacement policy for a sheet that arrives damaged, and a clear list of what else is in the box — ours are glass only. Then compare the price per sheet including delivery. Our 3-pack is ₹599 and the 5-pack ₹699.
Is a 10-pack of screen protectors worth it?
Yes, if you keep your phone for a year or more or tend to crack protectors. It has the lowest price per sheet — ₹100 a sheet for our regular 10-pack — and ours ships free. It is not worth it if you are about to change phones, because the sheets fit one model only.
Can I use one pack for two different phones?
No. Every sheet in a pack is cut for one model. Two phones need two packs.
How much does a tempered glass screen protector cost per sheet?
Ours run from ₹200 a sheet in a 3-pack down to ₹100 a sheet in a 10-pack — the same on every phone model.
Is delivery free on screen protector packs?
On ours, delivery is ₹50 and free on orders of ₹999 or more, so both 10-packs ship free. Cash on delivery is available across India.
Where can I buy tempered glass in bulk in India?
For a shop, repair centre or office buying across several models, ask for a wholesale quote rather than buying retail packs. Ours is priced on volume and picked to whatever mix of models you need.
